My neighbor Dan has become a maker/baker of the finest coconut macaroons.I am a lover of most things coconut. I have sampled Dan’s macaroons and I have  gone out in pursuit of Dan’s macaroons. Coffee Opens in Manhattan – Features I will tell you, I usually pass on buying macaroons from bakeries, WHY?  Dryness. Dryness kills the macaroon. Danny’s Macaroons are far from dry, my husband  saved me a few macaroons for two days, these were not even dried out. Moist,delicious and not overly sweet are Dan’s macaroons. Last week my neice ( AKA  Blueberry Beauty)  and I went Blueberry picking,it was a hot summer afternoon, We picked plump delicious blueberries. We walked the farm, admired the Sunflowers and took three home at .75 cents each ( shock for me  because in NYC Sunflowers are expensive)   We had blueberry pancakes for breakfast the next morning  and they were oh so yummy.
