Myth # 3
12/01/10 | by admin | Skin Care Info | No Comments »-->Dryness causes fine lines. True. Aging, smoking, sun, also contribute to lines. Dry skin definitely shows more lines, no doubt about that. Dr Hirsch states: “smoothing things out visually with a little lotion. Moisturizing will make wrinkles look better” and “The lines are still there, but you won’t see them anymore.”
I do not know about you, but I do not agree with that comment. I do not have dry skin.I apply my facial moisturizers before the three minutes are up and I know I still look a bit dehydrated and some days I see these lines. This comes with aging, once you pass the age of 35 our bodies start to change, moisture/ hydration is one of the changes, We lose hydration which creates loss of moisture, creating the lines we see. Moisturizer does help it truly does, maybe it is because I am looking intently at my lines, I have scheduled a Signature facial with microdermabrasion on 12/8. I will let you know the outcome and effects.
