My Vu Business

When I agreed to register to be a Votre Vu consultant back in February of 2008, I did not tell a sole. Not even my sisters. I was, I will admit, ashamed because it was a direct sales business.You know, how people have a pause when you tell them it is a direct sales business. Well, I can tell you that I really do not have too many of those paused reactions when someone realizes Votre Vu is sold  online with consultants.

I could not be happier, things are going well and I had set a goal for myself and I achieved that goal last year. It was a financial goal and in doing our taxes I was reminded of reaching that goal.

I am glad I made the decision to become involved with Votre Vu.

Do you LOVE your skin?

You know we all look at ourselves with more criticisms than our friends do. I am one of three sisters,two of us are blond and one of us is brunette.(all in their forties). Can I tell you as a young girl I hated myself,I was different than my two sisters, I had darker olive skin, their skin was not.I was chubby, they were not. As we grew up and went off to High School, it certainly looked to me that Blonde’s definitely had more fun. All the boys liked my sisters, I did not garner the same reaction.

Off to college we all went one , then two years later I went and lastly two more years and little sister went. We all were in different states, Connecticut, New York and Rhode Island, then graduate school in Florida for one sister.

I am extremely close with both my sisters and we all have beautiful skin. We all look younger than our birth age. We often speak about how our Grandmothers had beautiful skin,one very pale and all Irish and the other olive skin and all Italian. We believe that DNA plays a part in our having good skin and we also agree that because we started taking better care of our skin in our twenties,and improving our regimes along the way has been a smart decision.We are not smokers and never have smoked. We do drink,not every day but wine often with meals and cocktails for fun.We have spent our summers in the sun and we do have sun damage,but we have less damage than most because we have been using sunscreens and wearing hats on the beach for many years now. SUN is the biggest damaging factor to aging our skin.

March 17th St Patrick’s Day!

March Votre Vu Newsletter I can not believe it is the middle of the longest winter month, MARCH. The annual very big St. Patrick’s Day Parade  in NYC will be on Thursday 3/17 and a beautiful spring day in the 60″s.

Aruba was great, sorry  no photos yet. I have been out of town working the Vu business and also my interior design business has 3 projects going on right now.

I promise to get some of the many photos I took while on Aruba island, this weekend.

Aruba that wonderful Island

I shall be away this week, posting once or twice from sunny Aruba. I have to be honest, I am looking forward to time away with my husband and our very good friends from Seattle T & C. It is a desert island not much in the way of lush foliage,yet it is a beautiful island.

This is the first year going in March, we usually take a week in April. I just found out Aruba is having Carnival the whole time we are there. This could be great fun.I should get some great shots too. So I can share Aruba’s Carnival with you .

We are staying up towards St Nicholas on the island.

So fly off early tomorrow morning.
