Super Saturday was wonderful and a success.

Super Saturday 14 Super Saturday 14 Takes place every year, for the last 14 years to help rasie awareness and funds for Ovarian Cancer. This was Votre Vu’s second year participating. Last year we were able to donate in goods and dollars over $50,000.00 to OCRF( Ovarian Cancer Research Fund).  We HOPE we did a little more than that yesterday.

We were selling our #1 product called DUETTE, our favorite by many  the unique hand cream and lip balm combination in one package, with two openings. Duette normally sells for $39 Retail, $29 for Brand ambassadors and  ESPECIALLY for OCRF yesterday $22 and 50% of all Duette sales are going right back to OCRF.

Many of the Brand Ambassadors are also giving back to OCRF their  commissions on the days sales of Duettes.

Here is Duette by Votre Vu, a wonderful product and gift idea for so many different occasions.Votre Vu: Duette – Review of Votre Vu: Duette

If you are interested in buying a Duette, use the link to my website and you can purchase one using  #3005.

Meritage Resort & Spa

07/15/11 | by | Food~ Travel~ Fun | No Comments »-->

This is the resort in which my husband and I along with the other Votre Vu achievers are staying.  It looks really nice.

I am so looking forward to  going into the Caves.

The hubs and I leave tomorrow for San Fransisco, we are stying in the condo building that his cousin lives in. They keep one condo that visitors can rent,so this is what we are doing. Monday, we have hired a town car to drive us the hour + drive up north to Napa Valley. The shuttle from San Fransisco airport with the Vu group should arrive by 12:30 pm.

I have a team member who I have not  yet met, who lives out in the San Fransisco area. She is driving up to The Meritage that afternoon so we can spend sometime together. She is taking a room and staying over night. It should be very nice finally meeting her and spending some quality time together.

Tuesday we are scheduled to tour a vineyard and a lovely dinner that night.

Wednesday, those of us who attained the VIP status… are treated to a day at the spa. Facials, Massages and spa lunch included. Another nice dinner that evening is planned.

Thursday is the last day and we have a vineyard tour and another cave tour and BBQ that evening.

All in all I know this will be another wonderful trip that Votre Vu planned for us.  Of that, I am sure.

Work hard= Play Hard, my father always says this.  I worked hard to earn the trip for hubs and I and we will have a great time playing with VU too.

P.S.  If time permits I would love to do this:  Hubs and I have done this one time before in Vermont, I can imagine the beauty of flying over Napa.

France & America = Bastille Day

07/12/11 | by | Food~ Travel~ Fun, Skin Care Info | No Comments »-->

I worked what Votre Vu calls a Vu Bar event Sunday. The event was Bastille Day here in NYC. It was a beautiful sunny summer day. The estimate was that over 20,000.00 people walk the 3 block event ( On 60th St from Fifth Avenue over to Lexington Ave)

Our Vu Bar is a beautifully designed traveling Air Stream to market our brand. We receive many comments on the beauty of the air stream and what a nice job in creating a Spa Bar inside. Its not  a full service spa ,its a small area where one can test our products.

My team and I….worked the event, it was the first time we all worked together. We work well together and enjoyed the day. It is a tiring long day, but we all had a good time. Today we are following up with our contacts from yesterday. A day in the life of a direct seller.

French women

07/11/11 | by | Skin Care Info | No Comments »-->

From what I see French girls don’t wear too much make up, they seem to prefer natural beauty with small dabs of enhancement.

Dramatic, colourful faces are not something I notice on the streets of Paris, lips yes, but eyes and cheeks are subdued.

French women spend much time and money on their faces and bodies via treatments and products, they are great believers in plumping and pumping for results, yet they don’t augment their faces in the way that many other women of the world do. Skin treatments are paramount in France and they rely heavily on the latest equipment to maintain skin and reduce the visible signs of ageing.

Even here in NYC this is evident with French Women, minimal make up or absolutely none. And yet,their skin is beautiful. We get different reactions from french women when they come into the VuBar, some are almost adamant in that ” I have never heard of Votre Vu” and do not believe for one minute that it is made/formulated in France and quickly leave. All French women do not react in this manner,but more than a few New York living French women have and I have witnessed it personally.

Let’s get back to skin.

How do you feel about make up? Do you wear make up?  Are you invested in using good skin care and taking care of your skin?

Here is the original blog post that I took the above comments from.

french essence: how much makeup is too much…what would a french girl say…

The difference is..

07/01/11 | by | Skin Care Info | No Comments »-->

I have posted about this topic before, Americans wear too much make up and French women do not. I have a blog post to share with you, a woman who lives in France shares her thoughts on how much make up a woman should wear. It is very interesting the difference between the two cultures.

I follow the European way, not the American way.

Happy Birthday to America this weekend …… Next weekend is Happy Birthday to France. We call it  The 4th of July, they call it Bastille Day.

More on Bastille Day next week.
